The big news is that we picked up our repaired camper today (hip-hip hooray!). At first, I didn't think I was getting very good attention for someone who'd just spent so much money, but after I got the gentleman who sold us the camper involved, things started looking up. We still had to wait for approval of the warranty work, which took 4-1/2 days, but they finally decided to use a gasket they had in stock so that we didn't have to wait for one to be shipped. They made a careful repair, and even found a couple of minor things we hadn't noticed and fixed them. They also vacuumed inside and washed outside. So, my faith in the dealer is restored. We may stop by the factory on the way to Michigan if we have time. I'd like to see the manufacturing process and maybe bend their ear a little with our tale of woe.
We finished working on the house and said goodbye to it. We took some pics for the realtor, too. Here's the online tour:
Front

It was sad to leave it (especially since it looks so good), but we've got itchy feet again!

It was very cool and windy and neither the crabs nor the fish were hungry, but the company was good and we enjoyed lunch at a little restaurant on the water.

Well, folks, I don't know when I'll next have an internet connection to post a blog. We're leaving Saturday morning. We'll wander north (watching the weather carefully), and hope to spend a few days in Ypsilanti, Michigan, with my son, Tom, and his family. From there it's only about 3-4 hours to Betsie River Campground in Frankfort, Michigan (near Traverse City). We hope to arrive at the campground a few days early so that we can scout out the area. I'll post again as soon as I can.
Happy trails!

Lovers and madmen have such seething brains,
Such shaping fantasies, that apprehend
More than cool reason ever comprehends.
The lunatic, the lover, and the poet,
Are of imagination all compact:
One sees more devils than vast hell can hold,
That is the madman;
The lover, all as frantic,
Sees Helen’s beauty in a brow of Egypt:
The poet’s eye, in a fine frenzy rolling,
Doth glance from heaven to earth, from earth to heaven;
And, as imagination bodies forth
The forms of things unknown, the poet’s pen
Turns them to shapes, and gives to airy nothing
A local habitation and a name.
Great poem--who are you? I see that you are posting from Torino, Italy. How did you discover my blog?

Hope you sell your house fast and you guys have a safe trip to Michigan. Can't wait to hear all about it :) Thanks again for helping the girls with their eggs and for keeping Christopher happy.
I remember in high school how I rebelled learning Shakespeare. Perhaps because memorization was so much a part of our daily lessons.
Enjoyed your pictures. I hope you both have a safe but still exciting trip north. Maybe you should stick a snow shovel in your camper!
Joyce, I enjoy your blog but you have the Yesterday,Today, Tomorrow flowering sequence backward. It starts deep lavender (or blue) fades to pale lavender and then turns white.
Look forward to following your travels wherever they may take you.

Oops--you're right about the flower sequence, Sarah.
I'm at my friend, Julie's, house now. She identified the poem from dome and edo as being Shakespeare, from A Midsummer Night's Dream. Who knew?!
We delayed an extra day here in Ocala due to the bad weather. We'll leave for Michigan tomorrow.
