10/24/06 (Tuesday): No, I'm not giving up on the blog! We've been a little busy setting up in our new home and taking care of some appointments. Also, the laptop had to go into the shop for a while. Starting tomorrow, I'll be doing a blog of Phase II of Joyce and Wiley's Great Adventure (Florida edition). Please stay tuned!

- We took early retirement from careers as Executive Assistant (Joyce) and Lawn Care company owner (Wiley). We have been full-time RV'rs since March, 2006. We've taken our RV to Maine, Michigan, California, North Carolina and everything in between. We live in Florida in the winters and travel in the summers. It's a tough life, but someone has to live it!

I can't wait for Phase II -- hope to see photos of your new digs soon. Can you take photos, research, type, edit, crop, post, and whatever all you need to do to blog each day -- all with one hand? I should know the answer to that -- definitely yes. You were very ambidexterous in Maine, even right after you broke your wrist/thumb!!! We'll try to be patient. Good luck in your new job.
