9/9/06 (Saturday): Well, despite my best intentions, it turns out I won't be able to blog about our recent trip to Baxter State Park tonight after all. We left Monkey in the care of some fellow campers while we were gone, and she's still mad at us. She peed on Wiley's shoes and the carpet. We started tearing up part of the carpet by the door to get rid of the worst spot. We thought we'd just expand the little tiled area by the door. We were surprised and pleased to discover tile underneat the ugly, smelly carpet! So we spent the hours before we went to work tearing up all the carpet. We bought some peel and stick tiles in a color that coordinates with the decor of the camper and we'll put tile down on our next days off. But in the meantime, we had a lot of cleaning up to do. If you've ever pulled up carpet and seen what's underneath you'll know why I don't have time or energy to blog tonight! Yuk!! I'll get to it soon, though, I promise.

- We took early retirement from careers as Executive Assistant (Joyce) and Lawn Care company owner (Wiley). We have been full-time RV'rs since March, 2006. We've taken our RV to Maine, Michigan, California, North Carolina and everything in between. We live in Florida in the winters and travel in the summers. It's a tough life, but someone has to live it!

Monkey! Monkey! Monkey! She seems so calm and loving all the time. Aren't animals amazing. We often watch Animal Miracles on the animal channel. Some of those stories are unbelievable. I'm sorry you had all that extra work to do.
The poor cat just can't stand to be separated from us. Some fellow campers came over twice and day and fed her and their kids played with her, and still she felt compelled to express her displeasure!
