6/14/07 (Thursday): I almost forgot to mention: today is my granddaughter, Margo's, birthday! Happy birthday, sweetheart.

We've taken our RV to Maine, Michigan, California, North Carolina and everything in between. We live in Florida in the winters and travel in the summers. I forgot to ask you -- you mentioned you took pictures of the coastguard station. I don't see it??? Or were you just telling us about it? Now I must go look at the link you added.
Pere Marquette Beach -- I love this speedy internet service. Isn't that an unusual picture (the first one) because it looks like white paper slashed over the picture. Quite interesting.
In the next photo, isn't that a very unusual place to have a picnic table -- way, way out on the beach???
I'd poop out getting my picnic basket all the way out there!
It really looks like a beautiful area. You seem to really have lucked out in your change of campgrounds.
I took a bunch of sunset pictures, including the Coast Guard station, which is next to the lighthouse, but I didn't post one of the Coast Guard station. I'll try to remember to put one on the next blog. I'm not sure what you mean about the first picture looking like it has white paper over it? I'll have to go look at it again.
